Lincoln Bias
The Buckbee S.E.E.D. Co. is proud to announce its incubator S.E.E.D. partnership with Lincoln Bias. Lincoln has years of management experience in the restaurant industry, and is well known in the Rockford area for his beautiful food art. With slow times in the restaurant industry, Lincoln was seriously considering the underground marijuana trade as a way to make ends meet. He had long been a strong advocate for marijuana but had concerns about what kind of example this would be setting for his teenage son. It was at this moment of moral crisis that one of Lincoln's old friends introduced him to John and Erik at Buckbee Weed Co. John and Erik thought this was just going to be another retailer that they would be supplying, but Lincoln envisioned something more: a partnership where they could work together to help each other and help the community. Through its Social Equity and Economic Development (S.E.E.D.) partnership, the Buckbee Seed Co. is giving Lincoln the leg up that he needs to make his hard work pay off. Even better, they are working together to provide a Rebirth to Rockford's South Side. The "Rebirth" mural, just a few storefronts down the block, is a fitting image for work that is being done to make a hemp dispensary that will be an inviting retail experience. Located at Morgan and Main, Buckbee Seed Co.'s first partnership will breathe life back into a community that has fallen on hard times.
